Day 4 in the 40s

We hope that you have all settled in to the Jamboree and have enjoyed the first few days, and are looking forward to other activities in the week ahead.

On Sunday evening we had our quiz and it was amazing to see so many of you there! You all did a fantastic job in answering some very difficult questions. We hope that we have tested your knowledge and you have learnt more about the 40s. We would like to say a massive well done to ‘Lou Lou’s Angels’, winners of the quiz, and ‘Tug Tug Yank’ (like the Toilets), winners of the Leaders quiz. And thanks to Annie, Bethan and Rosie for running both quizzes!

A few of the team headed down to the Main Stage to get our groove on, on Sunday night. We couldn’t help noticing that some of you really knew how to dance. Special mention to Ben, Toby and Edward from 1st Dereham Scouts for their awesome moves.

We have all had a lot of fun running crafts and various other activities for Cub and Brownie Day. However, after a full day of cotton reel tank making, no one has managed to make one that fires over 10cm. If you can do better, come along and show us how its done! It has been lovely to see you all smiling around the sub camp.

Carry on enjoying the photo cut out and our selfie board, which is in our crafts tent – make sure you have yours done! A massive well done to Calum for receiving the “best use of the clip board” award from Lichfield District Explorers!

Happy 16th Birthday to Niamh Hopper from the 1st Beacon Hill Rangers!
